Support Us At SAGA school we aim to provide an outstanding bi-lingual, multi-cultural education to any family who wishes to attend. To that end, we strive to keep our tuition rates as low as possible while at the same time providing our students with the best teachers in a clean, safe, nurturing and welcoming environment. We’re able to do this with the support of our wonderful families and a generous local community. There are so many ways to help the school continue to flourish, and many of them won’t cost you an extra dime! From volunteering time to promoting us on social media sites to making financial donations, there is a way for everyone in the SAGA community to get involved! Download our flyer for a quick overview! Volunteering One of the ways the SAGA School works to keep tuition prices reasonable is to enlist the help of volunteers. We ask parents to volunteer on committees and invite members of the community to participate in these as well. If you are interested in finding out how you can help, email volunteer@sagaschool.org.* Note, for the 2021-22 School Year, there will no Volunteer requirement for SAGA daytime families. Fundraising SAGA School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible (our tax ID number is 20-2607873). Donations allow us to renovate and upgrade our facilities and augment our ability to purchase German language books and other classroom materials. Fundraising efforts have included silent auctions, benefit concerts, bake sales, gift matching fundraising drives and Mabel's Labels, Amazon Smile, Fred Meyer, and ShopRaise rewards program participation! SAGA's Virtual Winter Bazaar In place of SAGA's annual Winter Bazaar, this year (2021-22) SAGA hosted an online sale of our holiday ornaments and trinkets, as well as baked goods from Seattle's German bakery Kaffeeklatsch. Label your child(ren)’s belongings and help SAGA control its lost and found area! Go to campaigns.mabelslabels.com, choose our organization (Seattle Area German American School) from the list and shop for school labels. SAGA receives 20% of all purchases made. Pass the information on to friends and family as well!
SAGA earns a quarterly donation for dollars spent at Fred Meyer stores! Link your Rewards Card to SAGA's account #91884 and use it when you shop at Fred Meyer (search on Seattle Area German American School if you can not remember the number). Click on "Link your Rewards Card Now" here to get started. The donation is related to how many customers select SAGA as their organization and how much they shop, so we invite everyone to link their card to SAGA!
